Halcyon Dreams
At the point where the sand meets the waves is where we want our feet and minds to bring us. Soft golden grains embrace the shimmering waters, making their own fate and surrendering to the rhythmic waves. Each time the two elements hug, the waves create stunning silhouettes on the beach, creating an instant masterpiece. They whisper stories of distant lands. Together they create an ever-changing composition that paints a picture of eternal connection, texture and colour. In this eternal play, sand and waves combine and create nature’s finest artwork, setting the mood for this beautiful midsummer campaign we present to you.
Our annual resort-wear series is a symphony of comfort and expressive style, usually with open collars, and simplified, abbreviated cuts, embracing optimal agility and ventilation that goes in line with the necessities of summer garments. Brisk designs are further heightened by liberated colours made specific to every idyllic setting imagined.
Cuban shirts, one of last year’s key items, were first introduced in the strongest and most playful shades in cotton/silk. This year, we bring back sanity and confine to classical colours, but we let the textures come out in their full-blown beauty. Waffle-textured in plush, jersey cotton, like a towel that gently pushes against our skin, leading to pleasingly comfortable outcomes.
Field jackets are universally perceived as modern man’s most functional garment, with four statemental pockets on the front of the garment, with extras to count on internally. It is almost inevitable to be mindful of a linen option. Experimenting within our comfort zone with this neo-classical silhouette, the sandstone shade, like our Sandstone double-breasted sport jacket. It has a harmonious overall tone resembling a surplus of pebbly sandstones and reads as a clean, malleable canvas. Dressers can dictate the theme of the outfit by incorporating impactful colours and elements to take over, or conversely, manipulate it to make it a leading statement that connects the entire tonal look.
A modern top-and-bottom set doesn’t limit itself to be just a tailored suit. We decided to complete the set with drawstring trousers for synchronised colours, or tonal sand shorts with fossil is equally beautiful — one of our favourite looks during off-duty days. You may now complete the whole ready-to-wear look.
Bodley loafers by Crockett & Jones in snuff suede, a softer proposition. Snuff suede is the softest brown that would not cause a nuisance to an outfit. They are denim's best friend, equally complementary to linen shorts and trousers.
The Wingman Blouson, previously introduced only in winter fabrications, finally comes with a summer debut. The four-pocket arrangement remains, diagonally and reversely panelled forming a strong X-shaped profile, complementing the widest points of the upper body - shoulders and hip. An additional iteration to this summer version is the snap button fastening on the cuffs, allowing sleeves to be rolled up when the fiery heat hits town. The fabric is in white linen, specifically sourced from Japan, enriched with herringbone textures woven into the bone of the fabric. Perfect to be used for holidays as a stylish windbreaker on top of a breezy thin layer.
