The day when we started The Anthology, canons were entrenched, which we also refer them as house codes. Half a decade later, old rules stand, with new constituents to add, segueing into a new outlook of The Anthology.
Ushering in the fifth year of establishment, we are proud to introduce you to our CORE collection, the cornerstone of The Anthology, a collection of our creators' ideal essentials that form the foundations of an Anthologist's tailoring wardrobe. Having focused on creating quality pieces with a consistent palette, perspective is formed, leading to this collection: the backbone of the brand, an overview of an Anthologist's attire based on the house's aesthetic and ethos, showcasing the range of colours, textures and qualities we established ourselves to be recognised as. CORE is a collection that anchors a reliable and trustworthy source of wardrobe staples for our Anthologists, with all-encompassing artefacts designed to withstand trends, foreseen to be worn season after season, day by day. CORE is our definition of 'classic' for today, the fundaments that spell out a few keywords — timeless, versatile, practical and original.
The collection comprises only one type of fabric, our house-developed linen and cotton blends, in partnership with a specialised mill in Japan. Weighting at 365gm, it is the ideal weight for both comfort and performance. Combining linen and cotton makes the fabric more breathable and moisture-wicking than pure cotton while maintaining the relaxed texture that makes cotton so appealing. Not only does linen add breeziness, but it also enhances the sculpted form to something as proper as a suit. Finishing in a twill construction is like the icing on the cake. The fabric brings out a touch of rareness and refined touch.
Available in five colours: Honey, Cream, Sage, Blue, and White. Each colour has been carefully selected, tested, to ensure they gesture towards timelessness and versatility — an examplar of our identity and design thoughtfulness. Strategically crafted into three suits, a singular sport jacket and a pair of trousers, these creations can be used interchangeably in different styling and occasions as both a set or as separates. Every artefact is stylised differently based on The Anthology's signature detailing, showcasing the pièce de résistance of The Anthology's house styles.
The cream suit set can also be styled as a summer black tie proposition.
