Iconic Shirtings
Turning half a decade old gives us a letup celebratory moment to take a trip down memory lane. Recollecting archival shirting pieces we created over the last five years, we had a good reflection of our commitment to quality and style. We explored multifaceted identities using cloth as a creative medium. Some pieces may seem like chalk and cheese, but through eclecticism, we found ourselves and lived up to that 'librarian' or 'curator' role for the house of The Anthology. Eventually, we made them our style. By conjuring up elements inspired by our most sought-after shirtings from yesteryears, we are pleased to offer you a synopsis of our shirtings in a collection of eight in celebration of our 5th anniversary, with each conveying snippets of our iconic style.
The following are the attributes of our key shirtings, the elements they are representative of:
Play of proportions: some of our shirtings commingle unique ratios of wide and thin stripes, making them sensational statements. They bring an expressive personality and can pair with all kinds of trousers.
Breathtaking yet considerate colour choices: We offer shirtings in a range of unique colours, mostly in soft pastels and earthy tones, with an occasional dash of jewel tones, never dazzling. While going adventurous, most colours are subtle, timeless and easy on the eyes. They are versatile and allow the shirt to be dressed up or down, with or sans tie.
Play of textures: a virtuoso's showcase in curating excellent tactile excitement for garments, a forte of the house. Seersucker shirtings make a great addition to the seasonal wardrobe. While comfortably confined and contented within approachable colours, the textures always outdo box-standard shirtings and provide an astounding point of view to style.
