Egg White and Yolk Striped Shirt

Egg White and Yolk Striped Shirt
100% cotton
An understated, classically proportioned poplin striped shirt comes with a hint of unusual colours, easy on the eyes, a secret indulgence for self and only noticeable to the observant eye.
This artefact is a fine shirting piece in minimally contrasted soft beige and pale orange, which we nicknamed egg white and yellow. The low saturated contrast broadens its versatility, allowing it to go casual with shorts and cardigans to formal with a tie. Complemented by a finely woven structure in Supima 100/2 quality, this piece is most suitable to be worn under jackets with or sans tie.
This design comes with the classic wide spread collar and a French placket, spotlighting our original double-stitched sport chest pocket, side pleat at the back and hand-cut barrel cuffs.

100% Fine Merino Wool
Country-inspired colour with reimagined fabrication, going the superbly soft way, amalgamating luxury with functionality to its greatest extent.
The Lazyman Jacket is The Anthology’s signature product — an unconstructed jacket made for the modern man. It is designed to be worn just like your normal blazer or sport jacket. The product features 3 functional pockets, rollable sleeves and adjustable side tabs at the back.
We initiated this piece in celebration of the prestigious wool flannel producers Fox Brothers' 250th Anniversary, a company we have worked closely with over the years. Although not a pinnacle cashmere experience, the fabric is woven in fine merino as a trade-off for good form and structure, yet still offering a lusciously soft, supple touch which almost no wool can achieve. Perfectly balanced in terms of properties, this design stands between luxury and practicality, widely suitable for everyday use. The fabric also features thoughtfully considered balance within the use of colours, with minimal contrast between fawn and fawn brown. The overall garment gets softly contrasted for optimal versatility ranging from country greens to modern whites.
Pair this with:
The ideal Forest Green Brushed Cotton Pleated Trousers, Deep Olive Civilman Trousers for the full country colour codes, with Vanilla and White Denim Civilman Trousers when back in the city. For uppers, we recommend long sleeve polo in navy, both heather and steel grey and also forest green. This piece is also ideal for the prime winter season, suitable to layer on top of heavier layers of knitwear such as a cable-knit rollneck.
Also available in other fabrics.

Suitable for all smart to casual settings, there is nowhere this pair of trousers can’t take you.
Civilman Trousers are the relaxed versions of your tailored dress trousers. Like a chino, it is at the same time a step-up of the rugged jeans/classic denim. It embodies a modest and courteous image, mostly casual with a hint of dressiness. The cloth is the ultimate highlight. Cotton moleskin offers a defined structure, durable to use, yet softened with a supple, napped finish on the exterior, fully expressing how functionality can equip with a luxury feel the same time.
This design is based on the classic five-pocket denim, built-in with curved inset pockets on the sides of the front with a coin pocket (formerly referred to as a watch pocket). The traditionally big patch back pockets are purposely replaced with our signature anchor-shaped flaps. Cut for a mid to high-rise, straight-legged, perfect for tailoring and casualwear. Wear them pressed with the centre crease or without, up to your preference.
Pair this with: Flanneled Cotton Shirt in navy, Workman Raw Chambray shirt in vanilla or indigo, Sport Jacket in grey herringbone, Ivory, or Fawn Long Sleeve Pique Polo in heather grey, navy, or chocolate brown and Lazyman Jacket in navy/teal bouclé or grey herringbone.
Care tips: Cold wash (below 30°C) the garment inside out by hand or machine, hang dry only. Due to the nature of the cloth, a total of 2cm length shrinkage may apply from the first few machine washes.
We are honoured to create this collaboration model crafted by one of the last remaining English shoemakers, the formidable, dependable, failproof Crockett & Jones.
Hartford is an unlined two-eyelet chukka boot with minimal design, turning the spotlight on the toe shape and last. The unlined design of the shoe provides a comfortable and breathable fit, making it an excellent choice for warmer weather or for those who prefer a lighter shoe.
On a 224 last, the shoe features a slight almond-toed look, softly-rounded but not chubby, angular but not arrogant nor formal. The shoe last is also particularly well-proportioned, leaving enough room to keep the overall balance elegant with no compromises on elongating the vamp by the use of another last.
This design is done in snuff suede, with Crockett's famous city rubber sole, Goodyear welted. Box and individual shoe bags included.
