Civilman Trousers - Espresso Moleskin

Civilman Trousers - Espresso Moleskin
100% Cotton
Suitable for all smart to casual settings, there is nowhere this pair of trousers can’t take you.
Civilman Trousers are the relaxed versions of your tailored dress trousers. Like a chino, it is at the same time a step-up of the rugged jeans/classic denim. It embodies a modest and courteous image, mostly casual with a hint of dressiness. The cloth is the ultimate highlight. Cotton moleskin offers a defined structure, durable to use, yet softened with a supple, napped finish on the exterior, fully expressing how functionality can equip with a luxury feel the same time.
This design is based on the classic five-pocket denim, built-in with curved inset pockets on the sides of the front with a coin pocket (formerly referred to as a watch pocket). The traditionally big patch back pockets are purposely replaced with our signature anchor-shaped flaps. Cut for a mid to high-rise, straight-legged, perfect for tailoring and casualwear. Wear them pressed with the centre crease or without, up to your preference.
Pair this with: Flanneled Cotton Shirt in navy or rust brown, Workman Raw Chambray shirt in vanilla, Taskmaster Overshirt in greyscale, Long Sleeve Pique Polo in heather grey, navy, or toffee and Lazyman Jacket in navy/teal bouclé or grey herringbone.
Care tips: Cold wash (below 30°C) the garment inside out by hand or machine, hang dry only. Due to the nature of the cloth, a total of 2cm length shrinkage may apply from the first few machine washes.

100% Lambswool
Designed for the well-adapting individuals who excel at both work and leisure, this is a casual piece that embodies more hardwearing properties, a practical semi-outerwear that can easily be worn solo or styled over a knit or tee on chillier days.
Crafted with heavier fabrics, this is a direct reference to a general work shirt — less sinuous than our usual garment, the overshirt is cut in a slightly more semi-fitted silhouette to allow both tucking in and out, topped with slightly oversized utility chest pockets, with absolutely no fuss and feathers, but only having functionality in mind.
Taking squared objects as the framework for this garment, we combined the silhouette with the pattern of the cloth, hence the use of plaid. A normal colourful plaid gives out a country feel to the garment. But when executed in greyscale format, it leaves room for interpretation. To style this, you may either go head-to-toe monochrome for a tonal look, featuring clean lines to help define a sleek figure. Otherwise, adding a pop of colour to the rest of the outfit conjures up Big Apple nostalgia, which goes down the casual-wear route with just a hint of its sartorial roots via the sophisticated crafting technique the house offers.
Lambswool borrows the look of classic tweeds, which is perfect for a workwear-inspired piece while retaining moderately fine textures that is good to the skin. The natural stretch property of lambswool also enables this piece to be involved in more actions, perfect for jacketless weekends and casual day-offs.
Pair this with:
Knitted T-shirt in Ecru, Fossil or Espresso, Pleated trousers in Forest Green and Civilman trousers in Denim White or Taupe.

100% Wool
Specifically sourced from the exclusive archive of Savile Row. A vintage medium to heavy-weight wool fabric with substantial volume, providing the ideal structural foundation for the cloth to hang beautifully, which is also well-described as a drape. It is a trusty piece to keep you warm over the winter. It may look nothing out of the ordinary at first sight, but once giving it a second glance, one would realise the colour and pattern proportion is where the highlight truly lies upon. The softened black & white colour scheme comes not only because of the finishing of the wool but also the soft ecru yarns meekly running across the whole cloth, giving the piece an assuaged look. While having a nuanced take on colours, the size of the classic glen plaid gets slightly magnified to distinct itself from the usual plaid suit jacket. The differentiation allows a more casual appeal to style with artefacts that are more than just a shirt and a tie, living up to the expectations of a sport jacket.
Our jacket features an unpadded shoulder with our signature lapel buttonhole, with higher armholes giving the garment an exceptional range of motion. We’ve also extended the shoulders slightly with our classic subtly-roped silhouette for a masculine yet elegant and timeless look.
