Born from a boat shoe, a silhouette we are all familiar with, yet also equipped with a mountaineering look and sensibility, this is a hybrid design that is built for everyday use with casual and sartorial wear. Distinguishably more elegant and well-crafted than the mass-produced boat shoe, we retain the soul of traditional English shoemaking excellence through the expertise of Crockett & Jones, resulting in this luxurious everyday moccasin. This pair is equipped with waxed shoelaces and metal eyelets.
On a 391 last, it features a short vamp, purposely designed for casual shoes only. Crafted in exquisitely textured black grain calf, the shoe expresses heavily on texture, adding a lot of visual character to the design and draws a significant distinction from general black calf shoes. To complement the casual profile of the design, the overall shoe is softly-lined, giving a more flexible toe box for better comfort.

Bodley is a half-strap penny loafer designed with clean, elegant lines, such as the refined butt-stitched apron and an oval cutout.
On a 376 last, it features a modestly short vamp which is casual enough to be paired with jeans, chinos, and our Civilman trousers, yet dressy enough to be taken back to more formal settings when a suit is called for. Although based on an iconic C&J shoe last, the heel counter was also modified from its predecessor, the 314 last, to hug tighter around the back of the heel for a better fit, also to accentuate the divine lines of the shoe.
This design is done in dark brown suede, with Crockett's famous city rubber sole, Goodyear welted. Box and individual shoe bags included.

An alternative to traditional folded neckties, the knitted tie offers a slight casual edge, yet features a V-tip and a rare 8cm width to retain the elegant look while standing out from its kind. Woven in a zigzag weave to give motion and the right amount of texture both visually and tactilely when pairing with an outfit, this tie is also styled in a timeless black, which we find is the ideal sober colour to complement almost every outfit. Hybrid designs are a common theme in the house’s footwear design. Retaining the excellence of traditional English shoemaking, this is yet another design that pushes the envelope of legendary English-shoemaking house Crockett & Jones. This is our take on a completely unlined dress loafer.
Named after a small coastal town, it comes with the sensibility of relaxation. It has the comfort of a small, quaint town, but a sharp design for the big city. We envision this to be the softest possible shoe for dress use. Made structureless on the upper, it is suitable with tailoring or suits for an elevated look. It is an elegant shoe with a more angular toe box, featuring sharper lines to compensate for its completely unlined structure.
Crafted in luxurious milled calf, a soft calfskin that is comparable to sheepskin, with a buttery soft dark brown surface dressed with natural fine grains with no after-finish. To complement the softness of the design, the overall shoe is completely unlined. Do note this is lasted on a 72 last but due to its unlined structure they carry a sharper profile.
This incredibly soft shoe is yet Goodyear welted, made the old English way. Box and individual shoe bags included.

The upper pattern of the street slipper is meticulously hand-cut from a single piece, resulting in a more fluid and seamless design. Departing from the conventional Albert-style evening slipper, this tailored creation features a shorter vamp and eliminates sharp turns on the tongue, maintaining a consistently soft contour. This complements the natural curves of our tailoring, allowing for a more casual styling option. Imagine a standard slip-on loafer, but refined with one-piece leather and a thin, hand-attached sole that closely hugs the bottom of the shoe, exuding an understated elegance. The design concept behind this collaboration finds its roots in aligning with The Anthology's house aesthetics, drawing inspiration from the soft angular curves, lines, waves, and parabolas presented in lapel arches, rolls, shoulder outlines, and jacket opening quarters. This bow tie also introduces an innovative technique, presenting unlined bowties with a small, elegant middle knot and large, exaggerated, contrasted wings. This unique approach captures the essence of old-world Hollywood glamour and a quintessential 50s-inspired aesthetic while seamlessly integrating modernity through its fluid silkiness and reduced substance via its unlined construction.
Every bow tie is self-tie, although they already come in its best tied form.

Exquisitely crafted from start to finish by Simonnot Godard, a renowned Parisian house founded since 1787 that has served the world’s most luxurious labels making the finest handkerchiefs with hand-woven cotton fabrics and expertly hand-rolled edges. Selected from Simonnot Godard’s archive collection, this is a vintage piece exclusive to us — a double ply yarn woven in 9 different colour stripes on the weft, a multi-coloured design that would fit almost every jacket of any colour, conveying The Anthologists’ eclectic identity.

This exquisite layering piece is a pure joy to wear around the neck. Crafted from an ultra-light blend of wool and cashmere, it features a unique, loosely woven, unbalanced weave. The irregular criss-cross pattern is reminiscent of snakeskin, deviating from the typical basketweave or plain weave. Although the scarf is a solid colour overall, it is meticulously crafted from two tonal yarns in soft biscuit and beige, reflecting the house's forte in colour and texture. The scarf is elegantly finished with a selvage edge, leaving fringes for a relaxed, effortless look. Ideal for casual dressing, whether it be tonal or to accompany more statement colours. Each piece is meticulously woven and handled by skilled craftsmen in India.

Khamai single strap slip-on loafers in box calf and wild boar, a Stefano Bemer special for The Anthology.
We are honoured to collaborate with Stefano Bemer, the Patek Philippe in the gentleman’s shoe industry to bring an original design to life - a single strap slip-on loafer. This is a creation that encapsulates The Anthology’s savoir-faire: the versatility to dress up and down, and the ever-so modern design with an old-school flair.
With an ever-changing colour under varying intensity and warmth of light, the shoe shifts between espresso and black. The shoes are exorbitantly hand-polished from their default dark brown to a deep espresso with a mixture of dark brown and black polish to achieve the rich almost-black shade.
Having a partial English identity in the brand, we particularly placed the strap detailing at a unique position as if in imitation of a modified vamp, making the front of the shoe appear visually shorter. We took away an Italian shoe's elongated front look while retaining its original fluidity and assertive personality, incorporating Italian’s fluidity in curves and relentless audacity in design innovation. The most noteworthy/remarkable thing about the design is the ingenious mix of calf and wild boar, with a refined cast silver buckle attached. It is purely decorative but speaks a lot about the design lexicon of the label.
Executed with the highest level of craftsmanship possible within this price point, the design features a hand-stitched apron on the vamp, a stupendous hand welted sole with a soft bevelled waist, which is all Stefano Bemer’s hand-grade default. We specifically made it a seamless back for a more ‘completed’ look with a dynamic curvature around the heel cup and a subtly slanted heel that makes the back of the shoe look even sleeker and resemble the feature of a bespoke shoe.
This is a creation that encapsulates The Anthology’s savoir-faire: the versatility to dress up and down, and the ever-so modern design with an old-school flair. Wear yours with anything from jeans to three-piece striped suits or a powerful double-breasted suit.
This design is based on Stefano Bemer’s C Last, in E width. This product also includes lasted shoe trees, a handcrafted wooden box and individual wool shoe bags made from remnants of tailoring cloth, all handcrafted in Florence, Italy.
