Our sartorial manifestation of the archetypal Anthology garment for the spring summer season, an articulation of the house’s core identity.
This is a double-breasted suit jacket in specially-developed Japanese cotton/linen that can live on its own or pair with its amicable bottoms to complete a set. Extracting the best of both worlds, this exclusive blend borrows the moisture-wicking properties and neat drape of linen, while expressing the soft-handed feel of cotton, a fine example of casual tailoring. Woven up in a twill construction, it brings an extra coat of sartorial elegance by elevating the style with faint textures, also brings the spirit of rarity to the table.
Our jacket features an unpadded shoulder with our signature lapel buttonhole, with higher armholes giving the garment an exceptional range of motion. We’ve also extended the shoulders slightly to complement the spalla camicia, also described as the waterfall shoulders for a more laid-back aesthetic.

Linen serves a functional purpose as it possesses a quick-dry effect and ventilating property due to its looser weaving structure, allowing wearers to enjoy their best under the heat. It is also traditionally perceived as a luxurious option for summer shirting. However, the downside is the way linen creases which is not for everyone, but do not worry, we have that covered. This blend is predominantly blended in with cotton, which effectively counters the creasing effect of linen, making a formal shirt possible when needed.
This design comes with our classic wide spread collar, a clean front, side pleats at the back and hand-cut barrel cuffs.

If we were to think of a trouser design that stands for the 2000s, it oughts to be a pair of drawstrings thus far. As much as we adore casual styles, this is not a sign of us giving in to the apathetic (can’t-be-bothered) attitude. The two are distinctly different.
As part of The Anthology’s resortwear series, this pair of breezy linen trousers injects with a dose of Italian Riviera chic, suitable to wear on both the beach and the city.
The modern drawstring waistband detailing does not only offer flexibility to the waist, but it essentially adorns the more casual aesthetic, also differentiating from our classically tailored trousers.
We sourced this Japanese linen twill for breathability to tackle the summer heat, while determined to retain a nicely tailored form. Flowy but tapered in cut with single reverse pleats, also equipped with welted side and back pockets, one can indulge in this pair of everyday trousers with utmost comfort while retaining a clean and smart look. Suitable for styling with just anything ranging from a t-shirt to a sports coat.
Hem can be rolled up to mimic the look of a trouser cuff if necessary. We recommend leaving it as it is.
