Pure raw linen with subtle shimmer reminds us of the tranquil moments absorbing the view of sand and seashells to the backdrop of a sunset. This garment is adorned with a natural tactile excitement — giving off a sensory juxtaposition of a rough and soft handle. The piece reacts gracefully, wearing in nicely while effectively moulding around the wearer over time when the natural fibres of linen soften up.
Fabric is sourced from one of the finest English merchants, Harrisons of Edinburgh. We deliberately crafted the piece from the backside for a full-blown Anthologist expression of creativity and unique perspective. The design features a prominent twill-weaving structure that runs across the whole garment diagonally, plain yet patterned in some ways, understated while bringing elegance to everyday life. This colour compliments most pieces in the wardrobe, be it dress shirt, polo, knitwear or denim, available to be dressed both up and down from Monday to Sunday. It can also moonlight as part of a creative black-tie if desired.
The texture resonates moderately with classic menswear’s favourite Shantung and Tussah silk ties. The jacket is in a gorgeous textured weave with a dynamic blend of stone white and sand yarns, coming together to create a sandstone colour. The ingenious blend of the two also results in an ever-changing colour under different lighting.
This is our first ever jacket introduced in our double-breasted model as ready-to-wear, a model we invested a lot of effort to develop to make the proportions right. This design features a 6-roll-2 configuration, slightly more horizontal lapels, subtly angled, signature lapel buttonhole, also higher armholes giving the garment an exceptional range of motion. We’ve also extended the shoulders slightly with our unpadded waterfall shoulder for an extra touch of casual flair.

A cotton double-breasted sport jacket in brushed cotton twill sourced from one of the finest English merchants, Holland & Sherry. At the forefront of cotton fabrics, its brushed finish hallmarks a luxurious suede handle. When the fibres get combed in different directions, a natural flair of colour disparity shows like a nicely napped suede. The fabric is also composed of an ideal weight for the best drape and form cotton can obtain. With both factors thoughtfully attributed, this artefact is made suitable for all three seasons with exception to summer. The colour bears a faint resemblance to a young deer, featuring a unique muted tan-brown. It is dissimilar to any other khakis or taupes, unusual but easy to pair with other fundamental pieces in a wardrobe.

Our interpretation of a casual t-shirt that frames a clean and smart look. An idea inspired by 1950s sportswear, it is the culmination of contemporary and ‘high vintage’.
The style features a simple design with specific proportions — a higher neck, ribbed sleeve and collar, shorter body and longer ribbed hem. This allows the t-shirt to hug around your trousers’ waistband without going too long or needing to be tucked in, maintaining good overall proportions even when paired with mid to high-rise trousers and sport coats.
This product is made of fine-gauge organic cotton, handpicked and sustainably farmed. (Please read our Ethical Sourcing and Production Statement) Incorporating full knitted construction, this breathable summer knitwear gives a defined body and contour. To enhance the luxurious silken finish and soft hand, the garment has gone through a tumble washing procedure in a final step unique to The Anthology.
Pair this with: practically anything in your wardrobe, be it a suit, sport jacket or Lazyman jacket. Colour-wise we suggest blue, brown, grey and white. Sneakers and espadrilles are also suitable.
