Anthologists Spotted at Pitti Uomo
Through dressing and culture, we’ve learnt to find people of similar wavelengths amongst the ocean of people. There are people we admire, people we’ve served or worked together with. Through different walks of life, from artists to auctioneers, bankers to bakers, these people amount to the many facets of us and have filled the crevices of our house, making it whole. These are people we name #Anthologists, our community that represent our past, present and future.
At Pitti Uomo, Robert from the team kept an eagle eye on the people who went in and out. Through his sharp lens, we captured the finest moments of some of our proud wearers, who showed up to this bi-annual menswear event at their very best selves in our garments.
Enjoy some highlights from earlier last week and a few more from the same time last year.
Photographer Milad Abedi, our trusty friend and style aspiration, constantly brings new excitement and value to the house.
100% Casentino Wool
A hard-wearing design for outing days and frigid weather, this is our take on a short-cutting jacket partially inspired by the historical flight jacket, with juxtapositions of spaciousness and form-fitting illusions through edgy pattern-cutting, forming a comprehensively sculpted form with hints of softness within. Full article about the design here.
Cut straight on the body with a naturally cinched elasticated waistband and sleeve opening, the sprucely gathered puckers give contrasted shaping yet maintain a clean, but not stoic look. The four-pocket arrangement added extra points of interest to the garment. Diagonally and reversely paneled forming a strong X-shaped profile, the sartorial-minded design is heightened by a touch of edginess, looking exceptionally spiffy even as a casual outdoor blouson. Slanted 'warmer' pockets around the upper waist are shielded by an additional layer, with zippers guarding both sides of the chest. All pockets are designed with better security, all thoughtfully angled and concealed to avoid one's personal belongings from falling out.
The blouson is finished with a silver two-way zipper. When zipped up, the body forms a subtle balloon effect like a classic bomber, giving volume to express a masculine look. By releasing the lower zipper, it complements our usual mid-high-rise trousers, achieving that sleek sartorial, tailored look, and creating a distinctive high-low aesthetic.
Fabric is Tuscany’s renowned historical Casentino cloth, enriched with umpteen bobbly, wadded textures, mimicking a fleece jacket in the modern context but more durable and refined. It also has excellent thermal insulation, perfect for outdoor use.
Pair this with:
Pique long-sleeve polo in any colors, such as steel grey, navy, or chocolate brown, Raw Chambray Workman shirts in vanilla or indigo. For Trousers, we highly recommend Civilman Trousers, or dress trousers in brown, olive, and white/vanilla.
Also available in Lightweight Feathered Grey, Turquoise,Terra Cotta,Jet Black, and White Wing

It embodies a modest and courteous image, mostly casual with a hint of dressiness. The cloth is the ultimate highlight. The epitome of what we look for in a pair of trusty winter dress trousers. It is the quintessential piece that offers the perfect drape, colour and texture.
Cloth woven in Huddersfield with a worsted integral structure and woollen finish on the surface, this piece offers a matte and marled look that reminds one of traditional flannel without the disadvantage of losing shape so easily, ensuring trousers look sharp and neat throughout the day.
