Breathing new life into black in tailoring, twisting the idea of the colour to enable usage outside of the formal settings while respectfully following tradition. It is why we experiment with corduroy, as the fabrication has historically always been an outlet for creative colours. The only distinction is, instead of going for a bright colour, we go the opposite way for a deep, sunken and light-absorbent black.
Keeping it extremely wearable and versatile, the 12-wale black cotton corduroy offers a defined structure, durable to use, yet softened with a supple, velveted finish on the exterior, fully expressing functionality and elegance with the slightest hint of the avant-garde all at once.
This design features a 6-roll-2 configuration, slightly more horizontal lapels, subtly angled, signature lapel buttonhole, also higher armholes giving the garment an exceptional range of motion. We’ve also extended the shoulders slightly with our unpadded waterfall shoulder for an extra touch of casual flair.

This divine piece slides off the finger when being handled. We consider this a blanket piece that can drape over the body as a step down of tailoring, in other words, a sport jacket alternative. An extension to our iconic knitted t-shirt, this is a piece designed with cooler seasons in mind, knitted in long sleeves and heftier yarn. A reinterpreted design inspired by the fishermen's sweaters and vintage sportswear, this is the culmination of contemporary and ‘high vintage’.
The sweater style features a simple design with specific proportions — a higher neck, ribbed sleeve and collar, shorter body and longer ribbed hem. The detail allows the sweater to hug around your trousers’ waistband without going too long or needing to be tucked in, maintaining good overall proportions even when paired with mid to high-rise trousers and sport coats.
This product is made of 6-ply Supima cotton, handpicked and sustainably farmed. (Please read our Ethical Sourcing and Production Statement). Incorporating full knitted construction, this knitwear gives a structured body and shaping, while can still being able to be machine-washed. To enhance the luxurious silken finish and soft hand, the garment has gone through a tumble washing procedure in a final step unique to The Anthology.
