Crockett & Jones in Black

No outfit is complete without the right shoes to pair with. A full completion of this fall/winter’s main theme, black, filling the gap that brown shoes would never have, we are pleased to introduce the black version of our collaboration with Crockett & Jones. Bringing to you the Bodley and Bloomsbury, our penny and tassel loafer design, now in the new black calf and black suede version.

Black calf can be a dressier take for formal suiting or evening ensembles, or contrarily, a way to penetrate casual looks that enlighten a rebellious moment - think punk rock and workwear, where white socks, controversially, become part of the equation.

Black suede represents the unabridged discreet elegance — astoundingly ‘lacklustre’, bold in colour but soft in texture, it looks oddly familiar yet startlingly peculiar. Unbothered, while weighing a powerful statement but is too cool to answer to someone, black suede is no different from the cool indie person that finesses good taste and good work. It would never be more popular than its counterpart brown suede, but would always be remembered a unique character.

Enjoy the two addition of styles and we hope you get to see black in tailoring in a new light.
