Across The Harbour—Our Second Outpost In Hong Kong

Menswear retail has always been equal parts romance and rigor. In our heads, it has to have certain non-negotiable values, sometimes upheld with a degree of stubbornness, whether in craftsmanship or in the way the house presents itself to the world. At the same time, it must remain relevant. The balance is perpetual: pacing against patience, intimacy against scale, restraint against ambition. A serendipitous encounter of yet another ‘right time, right place’ had us intertwined with high-end shopping mall K11 MUSEA to test out this new concept in our local market Hong Kong, leading to the second outpost within town.

Bridging ‘the tale of two cities’, we’ve gone from the Island side and now across the harbour to Kowloon, playfully dubbed the ‘Darkside’, a nod to the beloved bar at Rosewood Hotel just next door. Being set in a mall comes with new challenges. This is a full-fledged retail concept, a departure from our Central showroom’s by-appointment intimacy. With greater openness comes greater responsibility.

Quiet within the hustle and bustle, the store is positioned at a distinctly considered location within the mall, emaining faithful to our core values, our non-negotiables. It is designed as a destination in its own right, surrounded by a rare concentration of discerning clientele.

Our neighbours lend a natural halo: the Audemars Piguet (AP) House, Cartier’s Lounge, and the Rosewood’s side entrance, which opens onto some of Hong Kong’s finest culinary offerings. Among them is CHAAT, the renowned Gymkhana-esque Indian fine pursuit, alongside several other standout venues. Above, the path leads to the hotel’s rooms and suites, and higher still to The Carlyle, a members-only club where contemporary hospitality meets sweeping Victoria harbour views.

This new outpost continues our pursuit of modern classics and our belief in clothing as wearable art. It offers a fresh perspective, evolving from a private contemporary living room slash art gallery to now a complete retail concept. The curation is precise and deliberate, balancing perennial signatures with seasonal expressions, and echoing the manifesto inscribed on the storefront— “An expression of wearable art.”

Grounded in warm walnut wood and set against tactile, grain-finished plaster, the space is bathed in soft, ambient light that evokes a calm, introspective atmosphere. Every detail is a quiet reflection of our identity, revealing how we reconcile traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary architectural language. From the sweeping curves of the retained panoramic glass to the accented greenery set in contrast with stainless steel and aluminium, the composition comes together as a cohesive whole, signalling a distinct new chapter for the house.
